Finding a new direction and passion in life.

Having come from being a chef for 27 years, I decided that it was time to finally do something else that I love. I have always had an interest in mixing flavours in food, and I have always had a love of candles. So it was just natural for me to progress to candle making and mixing fragrances.

So after extensive research Chrissi’s Cauldron was born.

Now based in Waikiki, Western Australia, during my career as a chef I have been lucky enough to live in some beautiful places throughout Australia, including islands on the Great Barrier Reef. Therefore I try to be as eco-friendly as possible not only with my products, by sourcing waxes that are ethically and sustainably produced, but also with my containers and packaging where possible.

Being a small home based candle business, I have chosen to use soy wax for my container candles and melts, as it is better not just for your home environment, but also better for the environment on a larger scale.

Bringing memories

alive via the senses.

For my pillar candles, after extensive research, I have chosen to use sustainably and ethically sourced palm wax.

My aim is to bring memories alive with the fragrances in candles, just as with cooking the smell of fresh baked bread can remind someone of a Sunday morning in the kitchen with the family, the same is true of candles. I love seeing the reaction people have when a fragrance triggers a memory. This is why I have chosen to use fragrance oils instead of essential oils.

All of my candles are a lovingly hand poured with a unique blend of fragrances designed to fill your home with a beautiful aroma, and help you to relax at the end of the day.

Fragrances with a difference

If you’re looking for vanilla I aint it, nothing will ever be normal, there will always be a twist.

Waxes

Environmentally friendly and sustainable are the aim. After extensive research Soy for containers and Palm for pillars are my preferences. Sorry not sorry bout it.

Intention

Providing high quality candles scented with memories.

Satan’s Little Helper AKA Archie the Ragdoll

He doesn’t really do much to help around the house or for the business, but he’s very cute & he knows it. See the journal for more on Archie.

The Darker side

Sugar & Spice, All things nice, is not something that I am. Halloween, Bats, Dark dreams, all things to make you scream, have made me the witch that I am.

The Cheeky Names

Who doesn’t love a Morning Glory? I know I do. Everything is all in a name, even the Peppered “Rainbow” has other meanings as the name may suggest, made for a member of the rainbow community.
